When it first came out Walter was given the book HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE by a friend. While reading the book Walter doodled on the pages images that struck him.
Walter then colored a few of them up.
A producer at ILM saw these doodles by chance and wanted to use them in a pitch to do HARRY POTTER as an animated film. The pitch never happened as HARRY POTTER was announced as a live action feature.
